All Duracryl floors are formulated from renewable building materials with low embodied carbon (LEC). These building materials emit low amounts of greenhouse gases throughout their life cycle, from extraction and processing to preparation and floor installation.
As a result, Duracryl floors release less than 5 kg of carbon dioxide (CO2) per square metre. This is significantly lower than traditional floor finishes, including concrete floors using ‘Portland cement’ formulas.
The most striking visual feature of Duracryl floors is its seamless look. This is because each floor formula is applied in liquid or semi-liquid form. This binder is free of ortho-phthalates, chlorine and solvents.
